This is the first comprehensive grammar of Kalasha, an endangered language spoken by about 3.400 Kalasha (the most recent demographic research documented 3.254 Kalasha speakers (Mela-Athanasopoulou & Taleem Khan Bazik, 2011d) in the valleys of Chitral (Bumburet, Rumbur and Birir), Northwestern Pakistan.
I have drawn on eight years of intense work with the Kalash, to promote, record and publicize their language through my fieldwork research in their valleys (educational leaves April - July 2007 and August - September 2009) as well as through my various publications, showing, among other things, the Ancient Greek presence in their language and also through the 1st International Conference on Language Documentation (1st ICLDT-Ka), of which I was the president (7 - 9 November 2008, Aristotle University).
